Humankind has been applying plaster to walls for thousands of years. Remnants of plaster can be found in Mesopotamia and ancient Greece, as well as in India, Africa, and China.

Today plaster can be mixed using the traditional recipes with various combinations of lime, clay, sand, gypsum, and marble dust, or we have the option of working with modern synthetic versions such as the metallic plasters.
